I went to the Mita festival. There are not any this kind of festival in Chinese universities and I never participated in the university festival of other universities. I was looking forword to it and it would be my first experience. I did not join any club so i went there as a vistor. It was really lively there and the crowd was bigger than any time I can meet in Keio. The snacks was delicious and the performances were interesting. Many of my classmates went there as well. Some of them joined some club so they were busy that day. And I have to say that it was really embarrassing to watch them dance on the stage lol.       It was a memorable experience.

Hans Holbein the Younger was a German and Swiss artist and printmaker who worked in a Northern Renaissance style. He is best known as one of the greatest portraitists of the 16th century.   He also produced religious art, satire and Reformation propaganda, and made a significant contribution to the history of book design. He brought the style of portrait to the United Kingdom. Sir Joshua Reynolds was an English painter, specializing in portraits. John Russell said he was one of the major European painters of the 18th Century.  He promoted the "Grand Style" in painting which depended on idealization of the imperfect.      I went to watch the match of Kawasaki Frontale. I like football and this team's ground is just a 5-minuate-walk from my home. And today's opponent was Gamba Osaka. It was really exciting to watch the match at the sense. Everybody there were excited and shouted loudly for their team. It was a good experience.      I went to watch football match when I just came to Japan too. It was the winter of 2015 and I went to watch the final of FIFA Club World Cup. FC Barcelona verses River Plate and Sanfrecce Hiroshima verses Guangzhou Evergrande. The ticket was expensive but it was the only chance to watch my favorite team FC Barcelona. I have been a fan of Messi since 2008. I was subdued by his performance during the Olympic.

I rewatched the Star Wars series on the last weekend. Star Wars series is one of my most favorite film. This film has had a great social impact. I still remember my first time of watching this film. It was about 10 years ago. And I have watched this series for about 5 or 6 times. I can say that this series is one of the best in the film history. Episode VIII will be on in the end of this year and the last episode will be on in 2019, 42 years after the first film of the series Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It's a kind of legend.

Writing-Crime Case

Generally, a criminal is always unacceptable. But this time, I would like to talk about a legendary criminal named Xu Hongci. There were estimated 550,000 people who were accused of being rightists in Mao Zedong’s purge. Xu is the only guy who escaped and made a free life in another country.       Xu was born in 1933 and he joined the communist party when he was 14. He was a student at Shanghai No. 1 Medical College and had a girlfriend there. In 1956, Mao invited all of the scholar to express themselves freely. But it became a entrapment soon. Xu was arrested and charged because he wrote a big character poster raising numerous criticisms of China. He escaped from the prison for several times but was caught by the police while his 14 years prison life. In 1969, the Culture Revolution happened and he knows that he would be killed even though he was innocent. He decided to break the jail and finally, he succeeded and escaped to Mongolia. From Yun...

It's really sorry to heard that there was gunman opened fire at a Baptist church in Texas, and 26 people dead in this shooting. This is the largest mass shooting that happened in Texas. I have some friends who live in Texas and it's really good to know they are safe. Sutherland Springs, where the shooting happened, is a tiny town. It's so small that everyone knows everyone there and there are even no schools there. I cannot think out a reason why the shooting would happen to such a peaceful town.     I think the government really need to think about the merit and demerit of allowing citizens to have guns. Hundreds of innocent people die every year shooting by the others. The situation need to be changed.
